sparrowmail: We’re excited to announce that Sparrow has been acquired by Google! Read more here. They’ve also announced that they have no future plans to release new features for Sparrow. I’m glad I didn’t switch from Mail.app to using this. Google will more than likely shut this down and use the acquired talent to improve upon their lackluster G-mail app. When it comes to email I really don’t trust third party apps—I prefer the default Mail app to the rest of them—even if G-mail doesn’t have push support. Yet.
